Our family just spent a week at Sand River, and it was an enjoyable experience. We stayed in a spacious 2-bedroom family cottage that was cleaned daily, which made a noticeable difference. My children, ages 5 and 7, loved the unique outdoor kitchen setup for family meals. Since I am always keen on eco-friendly practices, I appreciated the overall clean environment and appreciation for nature. The river flowing right behind the property was a calm backdrop for our vacation. My husband and I often enjoyed peaceful evenings listening to the gentle sounds of water while the kids played nearby. The host, 'Doctor,' and his wife were accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed, which was quite refreshing. The location is convenient, too, as it's close to a large shopping mall, giving us options for family outings. We would certainly consider revisiting Sand River for that feeling of tranquility and family bonding in the heart of nature.
